A good find! I had my dog and cat groomed today. Henry is a large goldendoodle and Marley is a persian cat. A nice short clip for my doodle, very clean and well priced. Excellent lion clip and bath for my Persian cat, she smells great and it's expensive, but worth it. I've been a few places locally and am happy to find ChezJeannie. Happy to recommend!

We've taken 7 dogs to Chez Jeanne over the past 23 years. We've always had great experiences with them. We've had a rotating collection of herding dogs, retrievers, and one akita. All of our dogs were beautifully groomed at Chez Jeanne. They don't feel stressed there; they walk in with their tails wagging and leave in a great mood, looking spiffy and smelling great. The staff is polite, friendly, and helpful. I'm so glad we found Chez Jeanne when we moved here in 1992.

Chez Jeanne is a fantastic place to get your dog groomed. I have been taking my 2 dogs there for years and they do an excellent job. They keep the dogs for a while so it is like free doggy daycare, and they come home looking so beautiful. One of my dogs is difficult to groom as he was abused for four years, I can't even touch his back with a brush, but the groomers there have no problem with him. I know a lot of other dog owners that love Chez Jeanne also.

WE LOVE CHEZ JEANNE and MICHELLE and MERCURY and the entire team there! Our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Keko, is the greeter you see in the photo on Chez Jeanne's website. He's 8 years old and we've been taking him to Chez Jeanne for 7 of those 8 years. He looks forward to his visits and they are the only place that can successfully clip his ginormous nails! We just acquired a new puppy Rhodesian Ridgeback from Michelle, and she is an absolute delight. Highly, Highly Recommend Chez Jeanne for dog grooming - they are awesome with even the most timid of dogs. Keko was apprehensive when we first brought him in....now all I have to do is say "Do you want to go see Michelle?" and he jumps around with tail wagging. I think that is the best review of all.

As a customer of almost 10 years, let me tell you my experience with them. I have been bringing my poodle, Jack, to Michelle since he was a pup, and he is about to turn 10 years old! I have never left here disappointed. Jack is always eager to be dropped off here and even now that he is blind, I never have to worry about him while I am away. The folks that work there are very sweet, and seem to take good care of him as well, which is apparent in his behavior when coming and leaving. He is comfortbale with the staff. And most times, it is Michelle that is taking him to the back, and he has known her for years! Even when I take Jack camping every weekend for 2 months at a time before bringing him in looking like a rag doll, they are happy to see him and get him back to looking like a poodle again! I will never take my dog to anyone else. Thank you Michelle! And by the way, I just adopted another poodle, so Jack will have company there soon!

I have 4 dogs of all different kinds. Two are poodle mix rescues that are shy, Frankie and Lolly. One is a German Shepherd named Franny, and one is my new little baby Chocolate Lab Pixie:-) For all of my dogs being different, they get the same excellent care and grooming at Chez Jeanne's. For my new baby (12 weeks old), she (the owner) starts slow with puppy visit baths. And a very careful nail trim. My baby comes home smelling rosy. Already she is so excited when we drive up! For my shy rescue dogs that need haircuts, they both seem to enjoy the day. They have beautiful haircuts and really nice baths and are so silky and shiny every time. They seem to actually have dog friends there and when we meet a dog in the lobby they act like they know the other dog! Then they all trot right in. My German Shepherd began to have allergies over the summer, and my vet suggested weekly bathing to help keep her free of pollen and grasses. When at Chez Jeanne, they also suggested to try a raw diet to support her immune system so she doesn't have allergies in the first place. Where else could one go in for a bath and come out with a health consultation? Anyway, within 3 weeks on the food she suggested Franny was feeling so much better, I couldn't say thank you enough to the ladies! They saved us big time for Franny...we will always be indebted to their knowledge and willingness to share it. Now, my two rescue brother and sister poodle mixes are special cases. We have been to a couple other places, with poor results. I asked my vet and she said that many of her clients take their pets to Chez Jeanne. We haven't looked back! Monthly grooming is fairly priced, and excellent. We need special care and attention, and we get it for Frankie and Lolly too. My tip for new customers: the weekly baths are less than half price :-)

This place is so very awesome! We have just moved to Santa Rosa and they came highly recommended by several people we have met with dogs in town. We have taken our dogs in 6 times in the last 5 months, and we could not be more pleased. This is my first yelp review, and I wanted to add my voice to the positive reviews (on the next page) and help offset what is seen below. This is a caring, positive place, with our pets treated like family. They were so kind as to recommend a Veterinarian to us, and places for our dogs to stay when we go out of town, the best local places to purchase supplies and food, and even are helping us to transition our dogs to a raw food diet to help minimize the allergies they are experiencing here in Santa Rosa. We also appreciate that they do not use pesticides and chemicals on our dogs. The care a time spent with our dogs, from potty and drink breaks, affection and play in addition to bathing, brushing and haircuts, and short or long visits when needed, as well as the ability to fit us in on short notice will always be appreciated by us. I agree, THANK YOU CHEZ JEANNE!

I have taken my standard poodle there for several years. I am very pleased with their work. What makes them special is that the dogs are free to play and are not caged. My dog likes going there. I do need to plan on leaving him there most of the day but since he enjoys it so it is not an issue. I hate to see underserved negative comments about a business that is providing a service you can't get at other dog groomers. If it not your cup of tea just move on and hopefully those of us who like it will still be able to take our dogs there.

Sebastopol, CA 5/30/2013 I travel all the way from Sebastopol to go to Chez Jeanne Grooming !! Every two weeks! It is really that good, and I can't say enough good things about this place. We are very careful where we leave our puppies (they are our babies) and have found heaven in Chez Jeanne! They are very happy to see our puppies, and WOW are our puppies happy to see the place. They both JUMP UP when we turn off of Hoen Ave!! I cannot say that about any other groomer we have gone to. The staff is gentle and kind and obviously love what they do. It shows not only in how our pups like them, but in how they come home looking good and happy. We live out here in foxtail country, so we have our puppies have short clips. They are medium sized poodle mixes. The every two weeks is for bathing and nail clips and a general look-over to make sure we haven't missed any foxtails or ticks in our daily checks. We have a close relationship with the people there, and completely trust them. They would only do the best for our puppies. They are kind people who understand dogs and the people that love them--like children!! :-)

We have a toy poodle that we have had groomed at Chez Jeanne Pet Grooming since he was a puppy. This has been 5 years now. We take him every month. His name is Coco. We have an appointment scheduled after every visit, for our next visit. We have some points to express regarding Chez Jeanne Grooming, for people reading these Yelp reviews: 1. The people that work there are always kind. Our dog licks them and is happy to go get groomed. 2. Coco comes home relaxed and happy. 3. He looks great and smells great. 4. When we want to try a "new do" for him the staff happily obliges. 5. The owner gives personal attention to us, and her expertise is evident. 6. When we have something done on our house like our kitchen remodeled last summer, we can take Coco there and he stays for the day so he is not upset by strangers in our house. He can be cared for all day instead of being kept in a bedroom. 7. One time, our gardner left our yard gate open. Someone happened to find our poodle, and showed a photo to the staff at Chez Jeanne, and they called us to tell us where our dog was. Now THAT is caring service! 8. When we started Coco as a puppy, they gave us free visits so he could play and get to know them and get used to grooming. He is happy to go now. 9. Our friends have a labrador that only gets a bath every other month, but Chez Jeanne Grooming lets them come in for free nail trim in between. They do free nail trim and day care for their regular clients. The dogs are happy to go there. We have always had good experience with Chez Jeanne Pet Grooming. My dog LOVES Chez Jeanne! He DRAGS me IN! We go every few weeks for a bath and have a haircut every other visit. They have a yard for potty and play, and don't cage the dogs. He smells and looks great. We never have a problem with them, probably because we appreciate that our dog likes it (he's hated other groomers), and they appreciate that we are conscientious dog owners. Our veterinarian recommended them, and when I'm at the park nearly everyone I meet goes there too! There's a reason that they've been in business so long, they love what they do...check them out!

We have been bringing our dogs to Chez Jeanne for years and have always received friendly, excellent service at fair prices. We had brought our dogs to another groomer before and the dogs always seemed to dread it and refused to go. We finally got the message and made the switch and are so glad we did. The dogs are now VERY enthusiastic and bound out of the car and into the shop. That is awesome! And the resulting cuts are always perfect. Our dogs are large (70 and 95lbs.) so the fact that things go so smoothly is really saying something. I wholeheartedly recommend Chez Jeanne to anyone who loves their dog.

I have been taking my golden retrievers to Chez Jeanne for 2 years now. They always will take my dogs same day I call if I need and ask me what time I will need them by. Which is extremely convenient. My dogs know where we are going as soon as we get with in a few blocks of the shop and get very excited to go. The people who work there are very nice and my dogs always come out looking and smelling great, and we just love the colorful ribbons they get around their necks.

I have taken my dogs to this place for more than 10 years. I have a Corgi and a Cairn Terrier now, and before these dogs I have had a Maltese Poodle and a Doxie which went here too. This is a very good place. They have always been reliable, with nice service and professional styling. I have only good recommendations for them.

We have been taking our two Labs to Chez Jeanne for six months. Every time I have called to get them in, for baths, they have accommodated us very quickly. Everyone is super friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I haven't written a review until today, because I continued to put it off. But today, the ladies at Chez Jeanne saved me BIG time. Our black lab found the STINKIEST puddle at the park, and there was NO way I was going to be able to get her clean again. I called Chez Jeanne, from my car, and they took both dogs in for baths on the spot! No appointment necessary. I don't know too many places that would have done that. I was so grateful!!! We have a lovely 10 year old Golden Retriever, who needed a haircut. The vet recommended this groomer. She had a bath and a "teddybear" haircut and she looks like a puppy again and smells so good!! They were very careful with our dog, Glory, as she has a sore back, and made her feel not itchy any more. We all really appreciate how well they treated her and us. We are thankful to our vet and to Chez Jeanne for all of their help. Glory is enjoying her haircut, she acts like a puppy now too. I wish we would have gotten the haircut sooner!! We will take her there for baths now and keep her teddy bear puppy look. Thanks again Chez Jeanne!

Our Veterinarian also recommended Chez Jeanne. We have used this groomer many, many times and they are very caring, thorough and kind. They are always prompt and our dog is always happy to go. A pleasant place for grooming.

Well, 3 months later and our puppy is very excited when we turn on the street! He's alwyas happy and beautiful when we pick him up...more like playdate with a haircut than just "the groomer" !! All we have to say is "want to go to the spaaaaa?" and he's all bouncing around. So glad we found this place. They rock!

Went here and was very pleased. We'll be going back. We have a 3 month old puppy Aussiedoodle and went for his first grooming before Christmas. Looking forward to a long relationship with them. Found them from their website and the great reviews on Google...here on Yelp you have to read the filtered reviews. Hard time believing the problem reviews here. They recommended a Vet for us, as we are new to the area, and we have met many, many people that have used this groomer for years and years. We take good care of our dogs, and are happy to find a groomer that pleases us as well as our puppy.

OK I just have to rave about this place! My girlfriend's dog goes there and she is always happy and smells great with a pretty haircut. She has fun, and she can stay all day or just a couple hours, whatever we need. My girlfriend's family has been going here for years and years. My dog had a bit of a anal gland problem... yuck! I called the Vet and they said it would be $100 and they didnt have availability til next week, seriously? I called Chez Saturday morning and not only was the price only $10, the very nice woman I spoke to said I could bring my dog in anytime, no appointment needed. Wow! I walked in, greeted by a man and a woman pleasantly, they took my dog and came back 5 minutes later... finished! She gave me some good advice and sent me on my way. So easy and they made not only me comfortable, but my dog comfortable as well. And let's be serious, he was the one getting his butt squeezed, ha!

My vet suggested Chez Jeanne for our poodles. We have and elderly and baby poodle and they both looked nice and smelled great. Our baby got to play around and liked going back for her next baby visit. How nice that they want the dogs to like their visit too. Friendly people and nice place!

My family has taken our dogs and cats to Chez Jeanne since I was little (a long time ago!). And our friends go, and neighbors, and I even met Mr. Charles Schulz there once, with his dog Tommy (not Snoopy!), a border collie and I will never forget that! He was such a nice man. We love it. Our dogs like to go, and we leave them there all day because they want to hang out and socialize with the others. They are not in cages. They smell so good afterwards and the haircuts are always great. Really, it is always a good experience and good for the dogs and our cats feel better after their haircuts too. It is a family owned business and I agree with Larry L. that Chez Jeanne is a ""business where you can trust your pets with people who really care about them."" That is why we have taken all of our dogs and cats there, it shows.

I found out about them when I was walking around Spring Lake with my dog, and nearly everyone I ask where they get their dog groomed says Chez Jeanne. I have been happy with their services and appreciate what they do for my dog.
