This review is long overdue! A year ago, we moved from the SF Bay Area to the Central Coast and utilized Tony's services to unload our UHaul. We were running behind schedule and had to notify him that we wouldn't be at our house until 7pm or even later. Expecting him to reschedule the unloading until the next morning, we were surprised when Tony said he and his team were willing to show up later. As promised, Tony and his crew helped us unload the truck and worked until around 10:30pm! They even helped us reassemble our king sized bed. After a long, exhausting day of driving and moving, it was nice to have an assembled bed on which to sleep! Nothing was damaged or missing. Based on our experience, I would recommend T Stevens Moving Services.

They moved me 3 times in one year. I liked them so much that I used them over and over until we actually purchased a home. No more moving for us, for a long time, but if we did, we'd use them!!!

Tony and Jerry were early, and started after we walked through the home, very professional, and work orientated they had our POD container emptied in and hour, and furniture placed in every room, the way we discussed earlier, I have no problem referring these two to other customers, they are very hard and safe workers!! if we ever move again. I would surely ask for them again! they finished way earlier than expected, i asked for 2 people for 4 hrs, they did the job in a little over 1 hr,and like i said was very professional and caring for our furniture.

This is the second time we used Tony when we needed help. He continues to do an amazing job as he is always on time, courteous and very professional. I called Tony desperate for his help at the last minute. We had been working all week and were getting a Big truck and another big open trailer to move to Paso Robles and we were completely exhausted. Tony had plans for a church function that evening but made time to come and help us. We never could have done the job if it weren't for Tony and his crew. After the walk through, Tony laid out floor protection and protected the stairs, banisters and covered the stairway window and the corners of the drywall with custom protectors. Tony personally wrapped the glass items and supervised the whole job as well as doing mush of the heavy & complicated work & tasks. He even helped us box up the remaining items. They were a great help with "heavy" items. Tony professionally & carefully wrapped and loaded items into our large truck and trailer. He and his crew were very careful with our things and placed them wherever we wanted in the house and/or garage. The next day, Tony did a great job removing all of the junk & other things from my garage. When he arrived he got right to work. He carefully repacked everything into good boxes, containers and reorganized my garage. He was great! Fast & efficient, very professional, polite & patient with good work ethics. He filled his trailer with the junk and hauled it away. They were very neat, friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this company to friends. Tony was very reasonable and available at the last minute.

As a consumer, I find that: This is a licensed moving labor business who has done an excellent job. Anyone that visits the owners website can read hundreds of great reviews and this business is a top Angie's-list mover. With licenses, permits and a bond and so many good customer reviews on the internet & his website. I don't see why Yelp has blocked this Owner from his yelp page. Yelp won't let this business respond to any reviews (Including the fake reviews posted by competitors). I remember this business had a lot of good yelp reviews until the owner started claiming Yelp was trying to make him pay them... then his reviews disappeared. I find that this company has done a great job, no matter how Yelp tries to harass him and no matter how many fake reviews his competitors leave.

Tony and his crew were professional and quick. He takes great pride in the customers belongings and wants to protect it during the move. This was a last minute move and Tony was there to help.

Professional and fast. Unlike other movers I tried to hire, they communicated well and made the move easy.

They loaded my 26' U-Haul truck very nicely.. Nothing got broken. Also they brought dollies, protecting pads for staircase railing and doorways, shrink wrap and ropes. Highly recommended.

Well, here it is. I was going to move myself with the help of family members. We got the truck reserved, dollies, etc. But we needed special foam and other wrapping materials that we couldn't find... to wrap our arcade games, pacman, ect. We had even called some moving companies and asked if they would sell us some, but they wouldn't. We started google searching and found this company and decided to call. The owner (Tony) was very nice and invited us over to look at what he had. He had exactly what we needed! Large foam wrap and corrugated wrap as well as other specialty items that we purchased from him. The business owner gave us so many wrapping & moving tips, I had to write them down. He said that he usually doesn't sell his materials, but he did it to help us out with our arcade consoles.... cool! We may just call him next time we move.

We bought a used mobile home but the tenants left the place full of CR@P. Moldy - Dirty - Slimey - Yucky - CR@P. We called Tony to come and do a major dump run (or 2 or 3). He arrived on time, explained the procedure, filled out a contract and got right to work. At first, I thought the price was a little high but Tony explained the dump fees and extra dump costs for appliances, couches, etc. After only the first load, I could see the light at the end of the tunnel and he got a lot into that 1 dump trailer load. Circumstances prevented a 2nd load that day but Tony is going to call me and squeeze me in when he has time. He charged for the first load only and said that he would charge less on the 2nd full trailer load. Since he's also a contractor, he may be a use to us in the future

Unloaded large semi moving truck and moved all furniture into house. Unpacked and assembled. Tony and his crew did a great job! They were on time very efficient and careful. They did everything quickly and professionally.

The movers were really good, fast, productive and on time. They finished loading within the allotted time and did not take a break.

They moved the entirety of our belongings across town in four hours(pack, load, unload, assemble). Very pleased with the organization and efficiency of the move.

Tony is the best guy around. I needed my very heavy piano moved and tony was about 1/2 the price a anyone else. He made it look so easy with all of the professional equipment that he brought. The 3 steps weren't a problem to Tony and the whole job was done professionally and at a reasonable cost.

I booked Tony 2 hrs. before I needed him. He made himself and his helper available right away. We were not ready and only had 5 boxes made up. Tony and his helper got right to work covering - protecting doors, stairs, etc. Then they wrapped the furniture and carried everything down our cutback stairs. They were masters at packing the truck. I didn't have any moving blankets, but Tony loaded everything in a way that nothing was damaged. Two bedroom with stairs, 30 minutes drive to the new place, unload, assemble, sweep truck, unwrap furniture and remove the debris... Tony did it all within the 3 hr. estimate. FANTASTIC!!

My first review and this company deserves it. We moved from texas and the Van Line movers only unloaded everything into the garage.. I call Tony to help move everything into the house and put it in place. when he arrived he laid out floor protection and covered the doors. He and his partner did a great job placing everything where I wanted it. Nothing was damaged and he even removed the debris for me. Tony even gave me a discounted price because of my disability. this was a great experience and this company is very professional in the way they handled my stuff. I just moved from grover beach to Los Alamos. we used T. Stevens moving services and they did a terrific job. everything was protected and loaded professionally & safely. when we got to Los Alamos, we found that nothing had shifted (a sign of a professional job). Great Job! After meeting Tony at a church function, i knew that he was an honest, hard working guy, an I was right. Tony & his crew showed up on time and were extremely professional & courteous. They were fast & efficient while being very careful with everything. They loaded my whole house and unloaded it perfectly... After the loading part, Tony did a walk through the house with me to make sure everything was loaded & nothing was left. My kids just loved the fact that their toys were handled carefully & even wrapped for protection (expensive toys). Working without a break, they placed everything where it belonged, hung the pictures for me and didn't damage a thing during the whole process... they even helped re-assemble the furniture. We had 3 PODS to load from our house and a UHaul to unload into a temporary rental. These guys were AWESOME. they worked hard wrapping the items in paper pads, plastic wrap & moving pads. Everything went into the pods professionally and without damage. The unload of our 26 foot Uhaul went quick & careful. They showed up a little early so Tony 'worked for free' for the 15 minutes until the start time. They wrapped (and were very careful with) all of my antiques, and especially my 1970's Pinball & arcade games. Professionals all the way. Tony was VERY knowledgeable and even explained why & how he was doing things. It was clear that his only concern was the safety & proper care of my items. I was really stressed about this move, but Tony had me laughing & not worrying abut anything. He worked hard & fast, yet cautiously, during the whole time and everything was done without a single bump, scratch or mark. He didn't charge me for the special foam-wrap or other special materials that he used on my arcade games, Grandfather clock, etc. I just can't believe the great job that he did for me. I'm disabled and don't have that much money... So when the move took a little longer than expected, Tony came back (alone) after his other job and finished helping me "for free!" He took care of my precious items better than any other movers I've had..... He also took care of me. He had a great (positive) attitude and was always happy. Tony has moved me twice before and did a superior job both times. We had to move and called Tony at the last minute... He squeezed us in between his other jobs. My mother passed away and left us her antiques, glass hutches & a baby grand piano. Tony & crew did a professional job wrapping and took great care of everything (as he always did before).... no wonder he's 'A' rated on Angie's-list, he's definately our top mover! He always helps us by relieving our stress and giving us the tips needed to properly pack our items. Everything was unloaded & put where we wanted them (not a scratch on anything) and even the piano was re-assembled. Tony arrived on time with his helper Aaron, and did a true professional job in moving a single & heavy, furniture grade wine cellar/refrigerator. After carefully wrapping the unit, they just as carefully moved it from the first floor down a flight of stairs to its new location, making sure that no damage occured to either the cellar or our beautiful hardwood flooring. Tony moved my business downtown, from one location, to another a few blocks away. They came early in the morning, so we could avoid parking meters and traffic. Tony moved my business, which was mostly boxes of books and bookcases a few blocks. He and his coworker were early and started right in. They were professional and very upbeat and worked quickly. Tony had made some good suggestions on the phone, so we were ready when they arrived with a UHaul truck and they came with blankets, dollies and shrink wrap. They were equally as quick unpacking the truck and when I discovered that some pieces of furniture needed to go back to our original shop, "No Problem", and it was done. I would definitely recommend him to friends or business associates. And I have to add the packing of the truck was a work of art! They had room to spare

I can not say enough good things about Tony and his professionalism in helping me and my parents to move recently. Let's face it. Moving is crazy stressful, and even more so because I don't know Jack about protecting stuff for a big move. That's okay. Tony knows a ton about this stuff. He came in, counseled my parents and I on how to wrap up certain challenging items, and then proceeded to efficiently and professionally move all my stuff into a moving van in a such a careful and confident way that it completely reassured me and my folks. I was super impressed with how well he organized stuff in the van and in how he used professional movers' tools like mattress straps and hand trucks and all the other little accessories that make the job easier. Overall, it was a hugely positive experience hiring Tony. In the end, because Tony was so efficient, he also turned out to be a great bargain. Great job Tony, and my apologies that I was a little skeptical in the beginning. Tony wrapped up all my furniture and moved it and my stuff into a moving van to drive across country. Tony also directed another laborer who was actually a competitor. Initially, I don't think that Tony liked that I had hired somebody else that wasn't part of his own team, but he took it in stride and was very professional about working with this other guy. He even mentored him a little, and I think the other guy appreciated it. I have much respect for Tony. I was pleasantly reminded that in any category, hiring a seasoned professional can save you time, money and it can protect your assets. I quickly came to realize and appreciate that I don't know jack about moving and Tony knows a ton. He came in and efficiently and professionally started loading up stuff correctly in the truck and explaining to my parents and I how to wrap other things properly like mirrors, artwork and lamps. I was particularly impressed that Tony brought along professional mattress moving straps that allowed him and another mover to lift my heavy king size mattress without muxxing it up. Tony was also great at organizing stuff into a smaller space. With his help, I probably could have gotten all my stuff into a smaller van. I thank Tony for being such a professional and for helping me out during a stressful event. He was very affordable, a bargain in fact, considering how he provided valuable consulting in addition to the actual moving services! Keep up the excellent work Tony, and I'm sorry that I was initially skeptical. You reminded me of the value in hiring seasoned experts; something I try to provide my clients every day.

Tony was Extremely helpful and accommodating. he was respectful of all of my belongings. His workers were intelligent and followed instructions well. they wrapped everything and packed the truck like Pro’s.

Tony helped us move from SLO to Templeton. We only had a 2 bedroom place, but we had a lot of stuff in the house and in the garage. We had not finished packing completely when Tony arrived, but he and his worker helped us. From the start, Tony was very helpful in confirming that the U-Haul place I chose was good and trustworthy, he recommended the size and confirmed we could get mattress bags there. He was very understanding when we had to reschedule 2 or 3 times because of our escrow failing to close. We were very happy with the services performed. It went a bit longer (and cost more) than he had estimated, but we had a lot more stuff than I think he anticipated... and we weren't finished packing. Tony was very skilled at loading the U-Haul. I thought he must be good at Tetris. He was very mindful of making sure our boxes and items were secure. After my driving skills of catching a curb and driving up the grade, he packed it and loaded it so that nothing was broken or damaged. Tony is a good natured person and a hard worker. I highly recommend him and have already used him again for a dump run

O.K....so here's the deal. I'm a pinball geek. By that, I mean I collect and love playing pinball machines. Add to the mix the fact that I live in a two story house and my back is shot out leads me to this review. I've used T Stevens Moving company three times to haul pinball machines up and down my stairs. Each encounter has been beyond positive and a bargain. Now you can get cheaper if you troll Craigslist and hire tweekers that will (fill in the blanks) drop/ steal/ vomit on your precious goodies.... or you can hire a licensed and bonded guy like Tony who will make sure your move is stress free. Sounds like a no brainer...

During a recent move from SLO to Napa, CA we decided to reduce costs by packing our large number of books and common household items ourselves and rent a moving truck from Budget. We hired T. Stevens Moving Services to professionally load the 24' truck. Tony visited our house and provided a quote. On loading day, he arrived promptly and with a helper did an outstanding job loading the truck carefully and efficiently in order to get everything onboard. I drove the truck to Napa and hired two guys from a local moving company to help with the off-load. They remarked favorably about how well the truck had been loaded with very little shifting and no damage during the drive. Tony Stevens is a no-nonsense pro who did a great job. I would hire him again and highly recommend his services.

The first time I used Tony he did a great job removing all of the junk & other things from my garage. He carefully repacked everything into good boxes, containers and reorganized my garage. WOW!! Tony was great, he came out and spent an hour for free helping me with a pre-move organization consult. He was very specific on costs and even worked with me to save me money. During the move, He & his crew where very careful with the wood floors. 20 minutes prep work to protect the floor for free! (with materials). 9 hours (big house) and didn't slow down at all. I've never had a move go so easy and stress free. He even came back the next day and worked for 1 1/2 hours helping me with little things and didn't charge me at all. He's friendly, knowledgeable, a great worker and knows what he's doing. Meat**** Movers wanted to charge me $1,100.00 more and would not give me a consultation.
